We’re based in Ann Arbor. Our reporters have covered city councils, state legislatures, factory floors, and federal courts. We know what sourcing means. We know when to publish and when to wait.
No listicles. No “you won’t believe what happened next.” We report stories, cite sources, and fix mistakes when we screw up. Advertisers don’t touch editorial. PR firms can send their pitches elsewhere.
The name comes from crossword puzzles. You need multiple angles to see the whole grid. Same with news.
